Everyone should have at least a pair of go-to nude heels. For me, they elongated my short little legs. Trust when I say, my heel wearing days are few and far between. But when I do wear them, I always reach for my classic, nude pair. My cousin’s  wedding is coming up and she ask her bridal party to hear nude heels which is what inspired me to create this post.

The color nude is not always created equal. If 2020 has taught me anything, it’s that all too often, my melanin queens are left out. Well, I am here to share a few brands that are inclusive of the entire nude spectrum. I’ll also share my favorite and most comfortable heels that suit me best, in case we are similar skin tones.

Nine West

This is were I purchased my first pair of big girl, corporate world shoes. I was so happy to see they have this NW Nudes Collections and highly recommend checking them out. You’ll find the classic pump, a scrappy pump, mules, flats, block heel sandals, crocodile embossed pumps and booties. Such a great selection and different heel heights as well. I have always found Nine West to be fairly comfortable. I have my eyes on the Arlene pump.

Rebecca Allen

This brand offers 5 different shades. It might not seem like much but they have something for fair to deep skin tones. You’ll find ballerina flats to classic pumps.

Christian Louboutin

The iconic red bottom shoes. I know, I know, pricey but I had to include them. The Kate comes in so many beautiful tones and finishes from patent leather to suede. If you’re about that life, you can fine this style in the 120 mm heel or a cute 55 mm kitten heel.

Banana Republic

Their True Hue line as a beautiful suede option in a pump and high heel sandal. The do some in different finishes if you don’t care for suede. Amazing price point.

Kahume

Kahume [com-mune] offers 10 beautiful shades ranging from the lightest of skin tones to the deepest browns. They are on the pricer side but have great reviews.

The ones that I have recently fallen in love with are the Bandolino pumps in the 3″ heel height (there’s also a 3.5″ and wide widths). They are so comfortable. Unfortunately, they do not offer many nude options but they do come in many different colors.
