Hi, it’s me… Life Update

Well, well, well… It’s been a while. First off, HAPPY NEW YEAR Queens! Can you believe it, another year has flown by.

To be completely honest with you, 2022 was without a doubt the hardest year of my life. After we lost our boy Bruno in Dec. 2021, I knew life would never be the same but I wasn’t prepared for the amount of pain and emotions that come with grieving. To say it was (and still is) hard is a complete understatement. I knew going into 2022, I was going to experience life without my boy for the first time in 12 years. I honestly didn’t know what that was going to look like but I wanted to go through this first year of life post Bruno so I can say “okay, I know what going on a trip feels like without having to look for a sitter”, or what it feels like to leave my house knowing I don’t have to come home to feed him. Breaking habits like letting him out or having to remove fur from my clothing – little thing that seem bigger when you first lose a fur baby.

However, I am happy to share that I am in a much better place now. I took the last year to just do whatever I wanted to do. Social media is my full time work but that was put on the back burner to prioritize grieving and doing things that brought me joy, like traveling!

Boy did I travel. I visited Mexico City for the first time during PRIDE, Vegas twice, Hawaii again, El Salvador (it felt good to be back), Key Largo, New York and Colorado. Boo and I also explored our own city, Austin, a lot and fell back in love with it.

But I am back baby! And I can’t wait to be more present with you.

For NYE Boo and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Austin and had the best view of the firework show. It was literally the best NYE I could have ever asked for. We are trying to manifest being in Paris for next NYE after seeing how they bring in the new year in front of the Arc Du Triomphe.

Honestly, I can’t wait to get back into posting fashion, beauty and travel content. I don’t consider myself the most stylish person but this platform has helped me step out of my comfort zone and most importantly, empower others to do the same and feel their best.

If there is anything you’d like to see from me, please feel free to message me on Instagram or comment below. I am also going to try and step up my Tiktok game so made sure to follow me there (click here).

What are you looking forward to this year? I’d love to know! Thank you for sticking with me and if you are new, welcome!
