How to Ditch LinkTree

Link real estate is hard to come by on Instagram. As a blogger or business, it is extremely important that your links are easily accessible to your audience. Unfortunately, Instagram only allows ONE link on your profile. That’s why companies like Linktree come in handy. They allow you to have multiple links on one, mobile-friendly page.

BUT why give Linktree all that traffic?

It’s super easy to create a page on your blog or website. I’ll show you step-by-step how to create this landing page, so you can increase your website traffic!

1. Create a new page.

2. Add your URL links.

Center align the links. I used header fonts to make the link text BOLD and stand out. You don’t have to title this page.

3. Add horizontal lines between your links.

4. Check mobile compatibility.

Make sure your links page looks good in mobile mode. You can change the screen modes whether computer/tablet/mobile.

5. Edit your page slug.

Mine is ‘links’ but it can be whatever you want. I see a lot of bloggers use ‘Instagram’.

6. Publish.

You may have to tweak a few things. Depending on your page. The side bars may have to be removed.

There you go! Easy peasy, right!? If you need help, leave me a comment or shoot me a DM on Instagram. Good luck Queen, you got this!

  3. It looks so good! I personally love seeing what people come up with creatively over the linktree format. I did something to mine as well 🙂

  5. I agree with all of this 100%! And it’s exactly what I did for my own blog a few years back. Why give Linktree all the traffic when I can send that to my website. Great minds think alike 🙂

This is so helpful! I made my own in that I have it link to a blog page that I keep updated with my latest posts but it doesn’t have any of this design to it! I’m going to change mine so it does, thank you so much!
